Join us at the start of the semester for a relaxed evening outdoors with good people, real conversations, and space to reconnect with what matters. We’ll be meeting at Issaqueena Lake, one of Clemson’s quiet treasures, to share food, talk stewardship, and welcome new faces into the community.
Students for Stewardship is a group focused on applied ecology and place-based learning. We care about cultivating biodiversity from the soil up and using plants, fungi, and thoughtful design to make the ecosystems around us healthier and more resilient. Events like this give us a chance to slow down, notice the potential in the places we gather, and practice seeing the world with care.
What to Expect
• A chance to meet community leaders who are doing meaningful work in stewardship, regenerative agriculture, food forestry, and ecological restoration• An easygoing space to slow down, share a meal, and make new connections with fellow students who care about the land and each other• Good conversation, familiar faces, and time to relax by the lake. Come ready to connect, learn, and enjoy the evening!
