Join TWN-Clemson in volunteering for Crossroads Animal Rescue at their Concert Fundraiser to help foster animals get adopted (8409 West Oak Highway, Seneca, SC)! The event will take place on October 19, with 2 separate shifts to sign up for: 1 from 2-5 PM and 1 from 4:30-8 PM! Here are the specific details from CARE Shelter: 
The location is our headquarters, Crossroads Animal Hospital.  8409 W Oak Hwy Seneca SC 29678.  We will need people from 2pm until 8pm.  We are planning to have 2pm-5pm shift and a 4:30-8pm shift.  We would love if at least 1-2 people from your group could stay the whole time so they can orient the people arriving at 4:30.  We would like at least 10 people total on each shift but also have some other people from other groups interested in volunteering.  What you’ll be doing is setting up the table and crates for the adoption animals including cage cards telling about them etc.  Then you’ll be spending time with the animals during the concert, just sitting with them listening to music or walking them around to meet people.  It’s a good idea if you want to bring a chair or blanket for this part.  The actual concert is 4-7pm.  Gates open at 3 for the public to arrive so we will need gate attendants from 3-5pm taking payment at the gate.  After the concert, we will need to clean and put up all the crates and help the foster owners load up the dogs to go back home.  We may be finished before 8 but better to plan for plenty of time.  We will also have adoption cats indoors so there will be a couple people staying indoors to monitor that the concert attendees know where to go to see the cats, make sure they don’t let them out of their cages, and direct them to the bathroom if needed.  These volunteers won’t be able to hear the concert as well, so they may want to switch off with the people spending time with the adoption dogs.  
We will have coffee and ice cream for sale on site but outside drinks/food is allowed – you can bring yourself snacks and drinks.
