Dr. Samantha Sutton Seminar Title: “Accelerate your career search” Bio: Samantha is an executive, leadership, and career coach who partners with scientists and engineers to build careers of deep meaning and impact. She received a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from MIT as a HHMI Predoctoral Fellow, where she engineered protein-protein interactions in yeast signaling pathways and helped to build the new field of Synthetic Biology. Samantha served as an executive for 8+ years at the biotech startup Ginkgo Bioworks, where she built the People (HR) team and focused on talent growth and development.  She has combined her expertise in academic culture and best-in-class industry leadership practices to offer bespoke coaching to academic scientists for 16+ years. Samantha deploys practical, evidence-based methods that empower individuals to build careers that match the scale of their potential.
