Take an Inflatable Kayak or Raft with us down the Tuckaseggee River in Dillsboro, NC! Trip will depart from Andy Quattlebaum Outdoor Education Center. This trip is 18+. This trip involves inland paddling so you must be comfortable: in and around moving water, sitting in a boat for several hours and paddling 5–10 miles in a day, able to re-enter a watercraft from the water if necessary. What to bring: Lunch, Clothes that can get wet in the river (swimsuit, water-resistant shirts/shorts, etc.), appropriate water shoes (something that can strap onto your feet i.e. Chacos, Teva’s – No flip flops), towel, sunscreen, and water bottle.
