Author Grady Hendrix
Join New York Times bestselling author Grady Hendrix to take a wild flight into the blackest night as we investigate the world of witchcraft in books and movies and witness an army of broomstick-brandishing, curse-hurling, baby-eating, world-renouncing, unkillable, unstoppable, unbeatable witches!
Tickets for the show are $25 for the general public and FREE for Clemson students with an ID. Books will be available for purchase at the event. The show will be followed by a book signing.
Hendrix’s performance will tie into his latest novel, “Witchcraft for Wayward Girls.”
Hendrix is a native of Charleston and a graduate of New York University. A former freelance journalist and movie critic, he has written for Playboy Magazine, Slate, The Village Voice, the New York Post, Film Comment and Variety. In 2002, he co-founded the New York Asian Film Festival.
His novels include “Horrorstör,” “My Best Friend’s Exorcism,” “We Sold Our Souls,” “The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires,” “The Final Girl Support Group,” and “How to Sell a Haunted House.” His nonfiction titles include “Paperbacks from Hell” and “These Fists Break Bricks.”
