Experience Summer Programs!

Welcome to Clemson Home Summer Programs! We hope you enjoy your stay with us and have provided many of the resources you may need below.

Ready Set Roar!

The event schedule and more information can be found via the “Clemson University Events” App. After downloading and opening the app, search “Ready, Set, Roar!”

Building Access

We staff two area desks on campus 24/7, one on the East side and one on the West. If you have any questions or concerns (lost keys, lockouts and maintenance requests) during your stay, please stop by the front desk and we will be happy to assist you.

Orientation Check-In

Check-in begins at 8:30am in the Hendrix Student Center. Students will receive name tags and be directed to where to go for the opening session.

Reminders:

  • Plan to arrive on time. We will get started right at 9:15am!
  • ALL persons attending with you (including your parents, siblings, significant others, friends, etc.) MUST be registered as your guests. The guest fee is $30 per person.

Required Orientation ID Setup

Your TigerOne Mobile ID will be required to enter your space. You must set this up prior to arrival to ensure a smooth check-in.

Key/Lockouts

Visit the Area Desk if you are locked out of your room or lose/damage your room key. There is a $100 charge for each lost or unreturned key and/or building access fob.

Emergencies, Safety and Security

All residence halls are locked 24/7 for your security. In case of a fire alarm, exit through the stairwells immediately. In case of severe weather, follow any siren warnings or instructions given to you. In the event of a tornado warning, go to an interior space in the basement or the lowest floor of your building and stay away from windows.

Trash/Recycling

Individual participants are responsible for the removal of trash from their residence halls or apartments. All trash and recycling should be placed in the large dumpsters and/or recycling containers that are located outside each residence hall and apartment area.

TV and Internet Access

TVs are not provided. If you have questions or need assistance, please visit our website at http://clemson.edu/housing-dining, click the building you are in and view the Community Tech Guide for those specific building details.

Laundry/Vending

Ice machines are not available. Washers, dryers and vending machines are located in most residence halls and in the Commons Buildings in each apartment area.

Linens

Clemson Home does not provide linens – including bed sheets or towels. For bed sizes, check our Bed Size FAQ.

Health & Safety

Clemson University prioritizes the health and safety of everyone who stays on campus. If needed, AED defibrillators are available for use through the AED program, which also provides formal training. Additionally, Naloxone, also known as the brand name Narcan®, can be found in ONEbox units across 22 campus buildings to counteract opioid overdose emergencies. The ONEbox kits also offer on-demand training on proper usage and response.
