Up to two power strips per wall outlet are allowed, and a power strip may not be plugged into another power strip. Extension cords are prohibited. If two or more items or two items using more than 1500 watts together are plugged into a single wall outlet, you must also use a U.L. approved power strip with a built-in circuit breaker.
