Interior rooms are located in Byrnes, Lever and Manning Halls. If the assignment ends in the number seven (7), then you have selected an interior space. For example, Byrnes 8A7 or Lever 3C7 are interior rooms. The first numeral indicates the floor; the letter in the middle (A, B, C or D) indicates the section of the floor; and, the “7” indicates the room number.
What’s It Like?
These accommodations are study rooms that have been converted into living spaces. Located in the interior of each building, this room type does not have a window (similar to an interior room on a cruise ship). At the top of this page, you can view sample room diagrams that might help you to visualize the space. As you can see, the rooms have full sets of furniture including: two beds with mattresses, two wardrobes, two three-drawer dressers and two study desks with chairs. The beds are adjustable lofts, so you will not need to rent or purchase a loft kit.

It is important to note, these photographs are a resource but rooms do vary so please plan accordingly. Also, per the housing contract, all furniture must remain in the room for the duration of the academic year and summer term.
The cost for interior housing is $1,990 per semester, which is a discount from the $2,885 rate for other rooms in these communities.
Move-In Weekend is Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18.
Your move-in day is based upon the community you selected during room selection.
