SUMMARY:2025 Oconee Area Jr Naturalist Program: Geology at the Quarry
DESCRIPTION:Junior Naturalist is a series of 6 classes serving youth 8-13 years old in the upstate. Youth are encouraged to be 4-H members\, and MUST register via EventBrite to attend. The August 25th topic is geology – we’ll explore rock qualities\, cycle\, and go down into the OCONEE ROCK QUARRY  The full schedule is at the registration link.  Youth who attend a minimum of 5 of the 6 classes will receive a Junior Naturalist certificate and book.
