In this engaging\, hands-on 4-H experience\, youth will explore how indigo was grown\, harvested\, and used to create the deep blue dye that helped shape early American history. Participants will celebrate America’s 250th birthday while learning the connection between agriculture\, science\, and the Revolutionary War. Best of all\, each child will create and dye their very own piece of fabric using real indigo to take home.
