The CEC provides an LLC experience where cultural exchange and appreciation transpire. Fellow Clemson Tigers, both international exchange and U.S. students, reside together in on-campus apartments and share in the Clemson undergraduate experience. Students learn about each others’ cultures through daily interaction, cultural activities and entertaining trips.
One dedicated Faculty in Residence serves the community — coordinating and facilitating cultural programs and discussions, and promoting participation in CEC events and campus activities.
What To Expect
Events and activities include community potlucks, cultural nights, international film viewings, formals and outdoor adventure trips.
Students from more than 15 different countries resided in the CEC last year. Students from Brazil, France, Belgium, Korea, Spain, Japan, Singapore, Australia and the Netherlands enjoy the Clemson experience with fellow Tigers from the U.S.
“The CEC brings international students and students from the U.S. together. Students truly learn how to appreciate each other’s cultures while having a great experience living with each other on campus.”
